Forum rules

These rules are short so that they can be enforced. Read them once before posting. The most important one is simple: no sourcing, of any kind, anywhere on this site.

Evidence and citations

  1. Factual claims about mechanism, effects or risks need a source. Link the study, or name the authors, journal and year, so others can check it.
  2. Say what kind of evidence you are citing: cell culture, animal study, human trial or personal observation. They are not interchangeable, and readers deserve to know which.
  3. Experience reports are welcome as experience. Do not present a personal result as proof, and do not invent or embellish lab values.

Conduct

  1. Argue with the claim, not the person. Insults, baiting and pile-ons get removed regardless of who is right about the science.
  2. Stay on topic and post in the right forum. Moderators may move, merge or split threads without notice to keep discussions readable.
  3. One account per person. Sockpuppets, ban evasion and coordinated voting lead to removal of every account involved.

Prohibited content

  1. No sourcing. That means no vendor names, no prices, no where-to-buy questions or hints, no coded references, and no sourcing requests by private message.
  2. No vendor promotion, affiliate links, discount codes or undisclosed commercial interest. If you sell, make or distribute these compounds, you may read but not post about them.
  3. No dosing advice. Discussing what a published study used is fine; telling another member what to take, how much or how often is not.
  4. No medical advice. Do not diagnose other members or tell them to start, stop or change any treatment. Point them to a clinician instead.
  5. No content that encourages self-harm. Posts indicating someone is in danger will be removed from public view and the member pointed toward crisis resources.
  6. Members must be adults. Accounts belonging to minors are closed, and content directed at minors or involving them is removed and reported where required.
  7. No help with illegal activity, including evading customs, falsifying prescriptions or doping in tested sport. Discussing laws and policy is fine.

Privacy

  1. Do not post anyone’s personal information, including names behind pseudonyms, addresses, workplaces or medical details, unless it is your own and you choose to share it.

Moderation and sanctions

  1. Moderators remove rule-breaking posts and may issue a warning, a temporary suspension or a permanent ban. Sourcing and vendor promotion can lead to an immediate ban without warning.

Appeals

  1. To appeal a moderation decision, message the moderation team within 30 days with the post or action concerned. A different moderator reviews it, and the decision is final.
